When considering students for nominations, faculty and staff consider what makes each nontraditional student unique, what is outstanding about their performance, how they successfully manage school, work, and family, and how they serve as a role model on campus.

Successful peer mentors lead students through "Warhawk Welcome," a weeklong orientation for new students at the start of the academic year.

Students were responsible for assisting with pre-production set up, coordinating commercial breaks and confirming touchdowns and time outs.

A record number of students accepted employment offers from all over the state and nation, moved on to prestigious graduate school programs or launched their own businesses.
