Vernon Hills's Cohen Part of UW-Whitewater Men's Soccer NCAA Tournament Bid

Jeremy Cohen, a native of Vernon Hills, Ill., and member of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's soccer team, helped the Warhawks earn a bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament, which begins this week.

UW-Whitewater will travel to Wheaton, Ill., to compete in the first and second rounds of the national tournament.

The 13th-ranked Warhawks (14-3-1) will face Rose-Hulman (13-2-5) in their first round match scheduled for 7:30 pm on Friday.

In the other first round match Wheaton, 12-3-3, will play Lake Forest, 13-6-1 at 5:00 pm.

The winners of Friday's two first round matches will play a second round game on Saturday at 5 pm.

This is UW-Whitewater's 13th NCAA tournament appearance and second in a row.

Cohen is majoring in Accounting.
