Two Rivers Native Shillcox Member of UW-Whitewater Conference Championship team

Shawn Shillcox, a accounting major and student-athlete at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, is a member of the Warhawks' 2014 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship team.

Shillcox, a native of Two Rivers, Wis., helped UW-Whitewater win its 34th WIAC title and ninth in the last 10 seasons.

The Warhawks are currently preparing to host fifth-ranked Wartburg (Iowa) this Saturday at noon in a quarterfinal game in the NCAA Division III Playoffs.

UW-Whitewater (12-0), which is ranked No. 1 in the nation by both d3football.com and the American Football Coaches Association, owns a 29-game winning streak, the longest current stretch in college football regardless of division.
