Tracy O'Mara named a Warhawk Ambassador

Tracy O'Mara, a junior communication major from Cuba City, Wis., has been named a 2013 Warhawk Ambassador at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

The Warhawk Ambassadors are a hand-selected group of ambitious, involved students chosen by the chancellor to host at prestigious events and represent the student body. These events include banquets and award ceremonies, conferences, campus tours, student panels and athletic events held on campus.

To become a Warhawk Ambassador, students go through two rounds of interviews and are evaluated on networking and conversational skills, knowledge of UW-Whitewater and current events.

"Warhawk Ambassadors are members of the UW-Whitewater family," said Jan Bilgen, associate director of Career and Leadership Development. "They are motivated students that are passionate about their education and the institution they are a part of."
