Spring Grove's Flood Named 2016-17 UW-Whitewater Chancellor's Scholar-Athlete

John Flood, a native of Spring Grove, IL, and graduate of Richmond-Burton Community, was one of 44 Chancellor's Scholar-Athletes for the 2016-17 academic year honored by the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Department of Intercollegiate Athletics during the fourth annual Warhawk Awards on Monday.

Student-athletes in their senior year who maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.25 at the conclusion of the 2016 fall semester, achieve senior status in their academic program and have at least 90 degree credits are recognized as Chancellor's Scholar-Athletes.

All honorees received a commemorative watch from Chancellor Beverly Kopper.

Flood, a member of the UW-Whitewater Football team, is majoring in Mathematics.
