Sheboygan Falls Native Hasler Earns All-America Volleyball Honors at UW-Whitewater

Staci Hasler, a native of Sheboygan Falls, WI, and member of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater volleyball team, was selected to the 2015 American Volleyball Coaches Association Division III All-America Team.

Junior outside hitter Lauren Pfeifer (Fort Atkinson, Wis./Fort Atkinson) was tabbed third team. Junior setter Staci Hasler (Sheboygan Falls, Wis./Sheboygan Falls) garnered honorable mention accolades.

The duo helped UW-Whitewater finish with a 31-5 record, claim the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament championship and earn a bid to the NCAA Tournament for the 24th consecutive season. The Warhawks hosted the Whitewater Regional Round of the Division III Volleyball Championships for the first time since 2002.

Pfeifer, the 24th player in program history to be considered an AVCA All-American, led the WIAC in kills (454), kills per set (3.63) and points per set (4.21). She hit .219 for the season and finished with 318 digs (2.54 per set), 82 blocks (0.66 per set) and 26 service aces.

Pfeifer earned first team All-WIAC honors for the second consecutive season and was tabbed first team All-Midwest Region by the AVCA in 2015. She is a two-time honorable mention all-region pick and was the AVCA Midwest Region Freshman of the Year in 2013.

Hasler led the conference with 48 service aces (0.39 per set) and finished fourth in the league with 1,248 assists (10.48 per set). She also recorded 180 kills (1.45 per set), 241 digs (1.94 per set) and 68 blocks (0.55 per set).

Hasler was named first team All-WIAC and first team All-Midwest Region by the AVCA.
