Rewey's McFall Tabbed AP All-American for UW-Whitewater Football

2017 Dec 14

Benjamin McFall, a native of Rewey, WI, graduate of Iowa-Grant High School and senior on the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater football team, was selected to the Associated Press Little All-America Division III Team based on his performance during the 2017 season.

McFall, an offensive lineman, garnered second team accolades after helping the Warhawks to a 7-3 record, including six straight wins to conclude the season and a 6-1 mark in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

UW-Whitewater has now had at least one AP All-American in each of the last four seasons.

McFall earned a grade of 94 out of a possible 100 during the season, the highest rating on the offensive line. He allowed only three sacks from the tackle position during the season and helped the Warhawks average 382 yards per game, including 172.3 rushing and 209.7 passing.

McFall was also named first team All-WIAC and first team All-West Region by D3football.com. He was a part of two WIAC championships and three NCAA Playoffs appearances, including the 2014 national title, during his career.
