Racine's Navratil Part of NCAA Tournament Bid for UW-Whitewater Men's Tennis

Zane Navratil, a native of Racine, Wis., and graduate of The Prairie School, is a member of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's tennis team, which will make its 11th consecutive appearance in the NCAA Division III Championship starting Friday in a six-team regional at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn.

The Warhawks (14-11 overall), who earned a Pool B bid to the national tournament, will face Concordia (Wis.), an automatic qualifier from the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference, on Friday at 10 a.m.

The winner of Friday's match will face No. 21 Gustavus Adolphus in the second round on Saturday.

UW-Whitewater reached the NCAA Round of 16 a season ago, falling in a tightly contested 5-3 match against Washington-St. Louis.

Navratil is majoring in accounting and economics at UW-Whitewater.
