Pleasant Prairie native Weber part of WIAC Championship Warhawk volleyball team

Tessa Weber, a Pleasant Prairie native and member of the 2014 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's volleyball program, has helped the team to a share of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title for the fifteenth championship in program history.
The Warhawks swept the University of Wisconsin-Superior 3-0 (25-20, 25-16, 25-22) Saturday, November 1 to secure a share of the WIAC title with a 7-1 regular season league record. UW-Whitewater shared the championship with the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
UW-Whitewater has earned the number two seed heading into the WIAC Tournament and will face the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, the number three seed, Friday, November 7 at 5 p.m. in Stevens Point.
Earlier this season, the Warhawks swept UW-Oshkosh 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-20), handing the Titans their first loss of the season.
The winner of the WIAC semifinal matchup will advance to the WIAC Tournament Championship scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Saturday, November 8. The winner of the WIAC Tournament earns the league's automatic bid into the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III Championship.
