Oak Creek's Reid Named All-American by D3soccer.com at UW-Whitewater

2016 Jan 25

Brianna Reid, a native of Oak Creek, WI, and junior on the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's soccer team, was selected as a third team All-American by D3soccer.com for her performance during the 2015 season.

Reid, a forward, is the programs first ever D3soccer.com All-America honoree. She garnered second team All-America accolades from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America in December.

Reid earned Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year for the second straight season and first team All-WIAC honors for the third consecutive year while leading the Warhawks to the programs first ever berth in the NCAA Division III Tournament quarterfinals. She helped the team win the WIAC Tournament championship and achieve program records in wins (20) and goals (68) in 2015.

A first team NSCAA All-North Region selection, Reid led the conference in points (44) and goals (20), including 10 game-winning tallies, the No. 1 total in the nation. Her 20 goals were the second-most scored in one season in program history.

Reid is the lone WIAC representative on any of D3soccer.coms All-America teams. She is majoring in Early Childhood Education.
