Minneapolis's Calabria Part of NCAA Tournament Bid for UW-Whitewater Men's Tennis

Rory Calabria, a native of Minneapolis, MN, and graduate of Maple Grove Senior High School, is a member of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's tennis team, which will make its 11th consecutive appearance in the NCAA Division III Championship starting Friday in a six-team regional at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn.

The Warhawks (14-11 overall), who earned a Pool B bid to the national tournament, will face Concordia (Wis.), an automatic qualifier from the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference, on Friday at 10 a.m.

The winner of Friday's match will face No. 21 Gustavus Adolphus in the second round on Saturday.

UW-Whitewater reached the NCAA Round of 16 a season ago, falling in a tightly contested 5-3 match against Washington-St. Louis.

Calabria is majoring in at UW-Whitewater.
