Milwaukee Native Dischler Part of UW-Whitewater Football National Title

Justin Dischler, a physical education major and member of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater football team, was a part of the Warhawks' NCAA Division III national championship team in 2014.

UW-Whitewater, ranked No. 1 by both D3football.com and the American Football Coaches Association, defeated No. 3 Mount Union (Ohio) 43-34 in Stagg Bowl XLII on Dec. 19 to clinch the program's sixth NCAA title in the last eight seasons.

The Warhawks finished the season 15-0 and have won 32 consecutive games, the highest current streak in all of college football regardless of division. In November, UW-Whitewater won its 34th Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship and ninth in the last 10 years.
