Michelle Curtis hired before graduating from UW-Whitewater

Michelle Curtis from Badger, Iowa, who studied music education, was one of many University of Wisconsin-Whitewater students to land a job before winter commencement. Students accepted job offers from all over the state and nation. Others are moving on to prestigious graduate school programs.

Curtis was hired as a music educator at West Side Elementary School in Elkhorn, Wisconsin.

In what has become a highly anticipated and celebrated tradition at the university, these students are invited to have their photos taken and posted to social media. Commencement is December 16, 2017.
