Michaela Matthys - Freshman

Matthys continued her standout rookie campaign Friday with a school record performance in the 100-yard butterfly to help the Warhawks defeat UW-Oshkosh in a dual meet on the road. Matthys registered a time of 57.09, good for a UW-Oshkosh pool record, the program's best mark and an NCAA Division III "B" cut qualifying time. She also participated in the 400-yard medley and 400-yard freestyle relays, helping UW-Whitewater place in the top three in both.

Wrestling

Ryan Aprahamian - Senior - 184 pounds

Aprahamian posted a 4-1 record Saturday at the Luther (Iowa) Open to place a team-leading third in the 184-pound flight. Aprahamian posted three wins by decision and one in sudden victory, and his lone loss came against Sam Brooks of Division I Iowa. He recovered from the setback to win his final two matches, including a 7-2 decision over Scott VanDeLoo of Division II Minnesota State.
