University of Wisconsin-Whitewater senior Jenna Woodson, a member of the Warhawks' women's soccer team, was tabbed second team Academic All-America by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

Woodson, who was selected to the third team last season, is the women's soccer program's second two-time Academic All-American. The Menomonee Falls, WI, native maintains a 3.88 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale and is majoring in international business/general management.

The Warhawks' all-time leader in career assists, Woodson enters the weekend with two goals and five assists for the season. UW-Whitewater (19-4 overall), the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament champion, faces Illinois Wesleyan Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the NCAA Division III Tournament Round of 16.

A three-time first team All-WIAC honoree, Woodson also earned the conference's Judy Kruckman Scholar-Athlete Award in 2015. She garnered National Soccer Coaches Association of America Women's College Division Scholar All-North/Central Region third team accolades in 2014.

Woodson is a two-time All-North Region pick and was tabbed third team All-America by the NSCAA in 2013. She was named WIAC Offensive Player of the Year in the same season.

Off the field, Woodson is highly involved on campus as the vice president of TOMS Campus Club, fundraising coordinator for the International Business Club and a Veteran Warhawk in the Warhawk Leadership Academy. She volunteers in Reading With The Warhawks and has participated in Polar Plunge to raise money for Special Olympics.
