Mariah Rens receives scholarship from the UW-Whitewater College of Education and Professional Studies

Mariah Rens, from Watertown, Wis., who is majoring in history at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, has received a scholarship from the College of Education and Professional Studies.

"Student scholarships honor the past, acknowledge the present, and give hope to the future. Our scholarships continue to grow with the generous support from friends and alumni," said Katy Heyning, dean. "This year we gave more than $100,000 to over 120 students across the College of Education and Professional Studies."

Rens was awarded the Frank C. Bray and Ada M. Bray Memorial Scholarship.

Scholarship recipients were recognized for their academic achievements and community service and represent majors across all departments in the college.
