Margaret Gomberg Named to UW-Whitewater Women's Swimming and Diving Team

The UW-Whitewater women's swimming and diving team has a young but talented roster ready to compete in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The team, which finished fourth in the conference last season, is looking to improve that ranking.

The roster includes Margaret Gomberg, a sophomore elementary education and Spanish major from Crystal Lake, Ill.

"Our scoring is back again this season, and we have multiple performers that have a solid season ahead," said Head Coach Joel Rollings. "These women have really been dedicated to staying at peak performance level in the offseason, and because of that, they have a very good chance of doing well at nationals."

Next up for the Warhawks is a meet Dec. 8 at UW-Stevens Point. The next home appearance in the Williams Center pool will be Jan. 26 versus UW-Eau Claire.
