Liberty Wieseman receives scholarship from the UW-Whitewater College of Education and Professional Studies

Liberty Wieseman, from Lake Geneva, Wis., who is majoring in business education at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, has received a scholarship from the College of Education and Professional Studies.

"Student scholarships honor the past, acknowledge the present, and give hope to the future. Our scholarships continue to grow with the generous support from friends and alumni," said Katy Heyning, dean. "This year we gave more than $100,000 to over 120 students across the College of Education and Professional Studies."

Wieseman was awarded the Karl and Doris Zahn Scholarship and the Maude Goodhue Scholarship.

Scholarship recipients were recognized for their academic achievements and community service and represent majors across all departments in the college.
