Lauren Corlett makes UW-Whitewater's 2015-16 Hawk Squad

2015 Jun 16

Lauren Corlett, a junior communication disorders major from Germantown, Wis., has become a member of the 2015-16 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Hawk Squad.

The Hawk Squad serves as the face of the student body, providing orientation programming for new UW-Whitewater students and their families, including small group meetings during Plan-It Purple, the summer welcome and registration program. The group also volunteers for Club-U-Dub-Dub and participates in other campus events.

"Our Hawk Squad always has a lot of energy and Warhawk pride," said Amberly Bell, student services coordinator for First Year Experience. "If you enjoy welcoming a new group of students every other day and sharing your passion and knowledge of the campus, then this position may be for you."

To be chosen for the Hawk Squad, applicants participate in a group interview and individual interview.
