Kristi Egnarski Prepares for Cross Country Championships

Kristi Egnarski, a graduate communicative disorders major from Watertown, Wis., is preparing with the rest of her UW-Whitewater cross country team for the championship portion of the season.

"We are excited to improve on our conference place from last year as the team is training well and learning how to race together in the meets," said Jeff Miller, head coach of the UW-Whitewater men's and women's cross country teams. Egnarski, who ran a personal best 24:38 at the Brooks Invitational in October, has been running in the top group all season, according to Miller.

The WIAC Conference meet in Cuba City will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27. The NCAA III Midwest regional in Oshkosh on Saturday, Nov. 10, will determine which teams and individuals move on to the national cross country meet in Terra Haute, Ind.
