Kimberly Neville wins Outstanding Adult Student Award

Kimberly Neville, a University of Wisconsin-Whitewater student from New Berlin, Wis., who is studying communication sciences and disorders, is a recipient of the 2016-17 Outstanding Adult Student Award.

The honor recognizes a nontraditional student on our campus who has shown a passion for learning, a commitment for their academic program and has contributed significantly to the university community while managing the multiple life roles of a nontraditional student.

Kimberly was nominated by Lynn Gilbertson, assistant professor of communication sciences and disorders. Gilbertson said Kimberly is an excellent, focused student, and her academic success is a testament to her commitment to her education and maturity.
