Kenneth Ryan stages "Three Excellent Cows" at UW-Whitewater

2015 Oct 22

"Three Excellent Cows," a children's show that tells the story of three cows that have big dreams outside of the farm they live on, debuts Oct. 24 at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Kenneth Ryan, a freshman theatre major from Horicon, Wis., appears as Umberside.

The play follows three curious and intelligent cows, Felix, Rupert and Daisy.

Most farmyard animals are perfectly content with chewing their cud, hanging around the farm and watching people pass by, but not these cows. Felix wants to own his own chain of frozen yogurt stands, Rupert wants to be the first bull on the moon, and Daisy plans to be the president of the United States.

Join in on the fun as these cows follow their dreams.

The world premiere opens Saturday, Oct. 24, at 2 p.m. at Barnett Theatre in the Greenhill Center of the Arts. This production will then tour elementary schools in southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois Oct. 26-29.
