Jessica Kaemerer named a UW-Whitewater Team Transfer Leader

Jessica Kaemerer from New Lenox,Ill., who is studying criminology at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, has been named a Team Transfer leader for the 2016-17 academic year.

Each leader is assigned a group of new transfer students whom they guide through the fall orientation program, TRANSFERmation. They also assist faculty and staff in the New Student Seminar class, manage a newsletter and social media, and work at events during the semester.

To obtain the Team Transfer position, students have to have been a transfer student themselves and have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher. After submitting an application, students have a group interview with other perspective mentors, and an individual interview.
