Jessica Faust, a UW-Whitewater student from Elkhorn, Wis., served on the university's 2016 Homecoming Steering Committee.

Each year the committee is charged with selecting a theme and creating specialized events for the campus community. Students are selected to serve on the committee based upon their involvement and academic achievement.

"The Homecoming Steering Committee consists of 19 dedicated volunteers, one chair, and two advisers," said Kimberly Clarksen, assistant director of Career and Leadership Development. "They connect Warhawks to the campus and build memories and traditions that create ties to campus for our future alumni."

Faust served as chair. This year's theme was "How Sweet it is to be a Warhawk."
