Jefferson Native Brom Recognized as UW-Whitewater Chancellor's Scholar-Athlete

Amanda Brom, a physical education major and student-athlete at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, was one of 49 Warhawks recognized as Chancellor's Scholar-Athletes on Tuesday, April 2, at the University Center.
To be recognized as Scholar-Athletes, student-athletes must have maintained a 3.25 cumulative grade point average or above through the end of the 2014 fall semester. Honorees must have participated in a varsity sport for three years, must be of senior academic status and must have accumulated at least 90 degree credits.
UW-Whitewater's 49 Chancellor's Scholar-Athletes are the most in one year in the history of the program.
