Junior defensive specialist Brittany Robinson (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Menomonee Falls) garnered third team All-America honors. She is the Warhawks' 27th AVCA All-American, and her award is the program's 39th, good for fourth most all time. Robinson was tabbed honorable mention in 2016.

Senior right side hitter Sydney Racky (Walworth, Wis./Big Foot) and senior middle hitter Courtney Wagner(Dekalb, Ill./Dekalb) earned honorable mention accolades. Both were third team selections last season.

All three players, who were named first team All-Midwest Region by the AVCA last week, helped UW-Whitewater finish with a 22-8 record, including a 5-2 mark in WIAC play during the regular season, and reach the WIAC Tournament final for the fifth straight year.

Robinson led the WIAC and currently ranks 17th in NCAA Division III with 5.79 digs per set, and her 642 total digs rank 20th in the nation. A first team All-WIAC and WIAC All-Defensive Team selection and the WIAC Defensive Player of the Year, Robinson averaged 6.75 digs per set in the team's six matches against nationally-ranked opponents, including a career-high 40-dig effort against UW-Stevens Point on Sept. 20.

Wagner led the conference in blocking and enters the week ranked 15th in the nation in total blocks (118) and 25th in blocks per set (1.07). The first team All-WIAC pick also led the team and finished third in the league in hitting percentage (.287) and sixth in kills (328 / 2.98 per set). Wagner's numbers increased to 3.04 kills per set and 1.33 blocks per set against nationally ranked foes.

Racky led the team and ranked sixth in the WIAC with 38 service aces and finished among the top 10 in the conference in both kills (316 / 2.90 per set) and hitting percentage (.251). A first team all-league honoree, Racky also finished the year with 264 digs (2.42 per set) and 36 blocks.
