Chicago's Green Selected to National Team of the Week at UW-Whitewater

Harry Green, a native of Chicago, IL, graduate of Shepard High School and senior on the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater football team, has been named to the D3football.com National Team of the Week for games of Oct. 27-28.

Green, a defensive lineman, finished with four tackles, including three for a loss, in the Warhawks' 35-7 victory at UW-Stevens Point last Saturday.

Green made two tackles for a loss of one yard apiece on running plays during the first half. On the first play of the fourth quarter, he posted a third-down sack for a loss of six yards, and the Pointers were forced to punt.

D3football.com has now selected UW-Whitewater defensive linemen to its Team of the Week four times this season. Junior Harry Henschler is a two-time selection (Sept. 19 and Oct. 17), and junior Cal Durni earned the honor on Oct. 10.

The Warhawks host No. 20 UW-Platteville this Saturday during Homecoming and Hall of Fame Day at Perkins Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m.
