Carol Alvarez hired before graduating from UW-Whitewater

Carol Alvarez from McKinney, Texas, who studied accounting, was one of many University of Wisconsin-Whitewater students to land a job before spring commencement. Students accepted job offers from all over the state and nation. Others are moving on to prestigious graduate school programs.

Carol was hired as an associate accounting analyst at Kohler Co. in Kohler, Wisconsin.

In what has become a highly anticipated and celebrated tradition at the university, these students are invited to have their photos taken and posted to social media. Each year it has been offered, UW-Whitewater has set a record for the number of students who participated; this year, 186 students volunteered for the event. Commencement is May 13, 2017.
