Brandon Haut appears in "Anything to Declare?" at UW-Whitewater

2013 Dec 4

The hilarious and sensual French farce "Anything to Declare?" comes to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in an exhilarating production.

Brandon Haut, a sophomore theatre major from New Berlin, Wis., serves as the understudy for Benjamin DuPont and Frontignac.

"Anything to Declare?" follows the story of Frenchman Count Robert de Trivelin and the struggles he faces after marrying into the Dupont family. With in-laws who are pushing for grandchildren right away and an unconsummated marriage, this hilarious farce will create smiling faces in the audience.

"It's quick and fast, resembling a sitcom," said Jim Butchart, director and professor of theatre and dance. "We plan our schedule of plays a year in advance, so a lot of time and effort has gone into this production and we hope everyone enjoys themselves."

The production runs through Dec. 7 at Barnett Theatre in the Greenhill Center of the Arts.
