Ashley Brouwer wins scholarship from UW-Whitewater

Ashley Brouwer from Delavan, Wis., who is studying general management and theatre, has received a scholarship from the College of Arts and Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Brouwer was awarded the Sally Marks Scholarship Fund.

"Considering the number of truly fine students across the disciplines of Arts and Communication, it is an honor to be designated as a scholarship recipient," said Robert Mertens, interim dean of the college. "The pursuit of artistic or scholarly excellence, coupled with a consistently high level of academic performance, has been recognized by the faculty and staff as truly deserving of this award. Let this award be a reminder of your accomplishments and of the college's generous donors who support scholarships that they may change the lives they touch."
