Andrew Eagon hired before graduating from UW-Whitewater

2017 May 11

Andrew Eagon from South Milwaukee, Wis., who studied physics, was one of many University of Wisconsin-Whitewater students to land a job before spring commencement. Students accepted job offers from all over the state and nation. Others are moving on to prestigious graduate school programs.

Andrew was accepted to graduate school and hired as a research assistant at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

In what has become a highly anticipated and celebrated tradition at the university, these students are invited to have their photos taken and posted to social media. Each year it has been offered, UW-Whitewater has set a record for the number of students who participated; this year, 186 students volunteered for the event. Commencement is May 13, 2017.
