Whitewater Student Government names new executive board
2012 Oct 9With the fall semester underway, the Whitewater Student Government (WSG) executive board has taken on the responsibilities of governing the more than 12,000 students who attend UW-Whitewater. WSG’s role is to actively assess and serve the needs of UW-Whitewater students by providing an open forum atmosphere as well as being a bridge between students, student leaders and campus administration. “Many students don’t realize the impact WSG has on this campus,” said Jan Bilgen, WSG adviser. “This executive board works directly with the chancellor, helping to make every decision from menu options to building remodels, like the University Center.” Local students named to the executive board include:
- political science
- Class of 2013
- Oconomowoc, Wis.
